We love feedback from our customers!

"We had a very bad experience at Keyes Hyundai (Van Nuys). Their salesman would only focus on the monthly sales price and would not tell us the price of the car until the final papers were drawn up. Although they "reduced" the monthly price by about $50, the car's base price had only been reduced about $500 -- clearly they were being dishonest with the price amount before/after negotiations.

Cerritos Hyundai was the complete opposite experience. We were in and out of the dealer in about an hour, the terms of purchase were negotiated via email a day or two before, and the price/terms agreed to by email were the price/terms waiting for us at the dealer. No hidden fees/costs. No bate-and-switch. Nothing but courtesy, friendliness, and respect from Cerritos Hyundai.

I would strongly suggest that anyone interested in buying a Hyundai go and visit Cerritos Hyundai rather than one of the bigger dealers, like Keyes, who clearly didn't want to work with us because they sell plenty of cars.

We saved about $2,000 by buying with Cerritos, and the irony is that the car we purchased from Cerritos was transferred from Keyes for us... we in essence bought the same car at another dealer for significantly less. Great buying experience with Cerritos." -rontorres83

The 2012 Sonota Hybrid Video Tour

Thanks for the kind words, Christopher!

"I called this dealership and told them the deal I wanted on a new Veloster lease.  The General Sales Manager, Javed, told me over the phone he could accommodate me, and when I went in, there were no "buts".  The deal went smoothly, and they even threw in a couple of coffees at Starbucks.  They really rolled out the red carpet.  I appreciated that very much.  Would definitely do business with them again." -Christopher

Hyundai shares passion for music at Coachella

Co
Making an appearance at the Coachella music festival this past weekend, Hyundai’s RE:GENERATION Lounge was nestled right up against the neon lights and thumping bass of the Sahara tent. Featuring iPads, recharging stations and a DJ spinning beats out of a Veloster’s trunk, the lounge provided a much needed refuge for festival-goers looking to escape the abnormally cold and wet desert weather. Whilst reviving their dead phones and using the free wifi, guests at the Hyundai lounge were treated to some special guest artist appearances.  Performers including Porter Robinson, Datsik and Destructo stopped by for photos and autographs with some of their most diehard fans. Modern Family actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson even stopped by to get in on the Hyundai tent action!

On the other side of the polo field grounds, the Hyundai RE:GENERATION Drive-In proved to be a popular spot for Coachella campers looking for some late night post-festival fun. Each night at 1am, Hyundai’s very own documentary music film, RE:GENERATION, was screened at the outdoor movie theatre. Screening attendees were treated to popcorn and warm blankets while they watched Skrillex, Pretty Lights, Mark Ronson, DJ Premier and The Crystal Method record new original tracks.

2012 Hyundai Elantra ranked one of the ten best green cars by Kelley Blue Blook

2011-hyundai-avante-elantra-630

April 18, 2012 - The 2012 HyundaiElantra has been named one of the 10 Best Green Cars for 2012 by Kelley Blue Book’s kbb.com for the second consecutive year. In this annual list, especially timely this year due to rising gas prices and just in time for Earth Day 2012, the kbb.com editors present a variety of fuel-efficient vehicles worthy of buyers’ consideration.

“The elusive 40 mpg mark is hit and miss for non-hybrid cars, but for the 2012 Hyundai Elantra it’s an easy target,” said kbb.com editors. “The Elantra obtains 40 highway mpg in all trim levels thanks to its fuel-efficient 4-cylinder engine, all while looking good in its wavy sheet metal and offering value with its low entry price.”

Standout fuel efficiency alone is not enough to win a spot on kbb.com’s annual 10 Best Green Cars list. Kbb.com’s editors also weighed factors like value, features and comfort in putting together this year’s collection of exceptional efficiency experts.

“With its 29 mpg city and 40 mpg highway standard fuel economy rating, Elantra is a perfect vehicle for consumers looking for an affordable solution to rising gas prices,” said Scott Margason, director, Product Planning, Hyundai Motor America. “Elantra is one of the vehicles at the core of Hyundai’s fuel economy strategy. In the first quarter of 2012, 39 percent of all Hyundai vehicles sold achieved 40 mpg on the highway thanks in large part to Elantra’s continued success.”

All Elantra models achieve the milestone 40 MPG highway fuel economy rating, along with the Accent, Sonata Hybrid and the Veloster. The 2012 North American Car of the Year Elantra adds an ActiveECO System for 2012 that modifies engine and transmission control to smooth out throttle response and increase real-world fuel economy by up to seven percent.

Hyundai Hope On Wheels Celebrates the Hyundai Cancer Institute at CHOC Children's With a Performance by the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra

Event marks Hyundai's second installment of a $10 million grant committed in 2011 to CHOC Children's

Hyundai Motor America and its nonprofit pediatric cancer organization, Hyundai Hope On Wheels®, will present CHOC Children's with the second installment of a $10 million gift committed in 2011. To commemorate this event for the Hyundai Cancer Institute at CHOC Children's, Hope On Wheels will host its signature Handprint Ceremony with Orange County-area children battling pediatric cancer. The ceremony will feature a special performance by the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa, Calif. on Tuesday, April 17, led by world-renowned Maestro Myung-Whun Chung.

Hope On Wheels' second installment of $2 million to CHOC Children's is part of a 5-year, $10 million grant donation - the largest corporate gift in CHOC Children's history. Funds from Hope On Wheels are being used for groundbreaking pediatric cancer research at the Hyundai Cancer Institute at CHOC Children's, using the latest advances in genomic medicine to provide more effective, individualized treatment for children afflicted with this disease.

"As we continue to strengthen our longstanding relationship with CHOC Children's, one of the best children's hospitals in the nation, we look forward to seeing results in the coming years," said John Krafcik, President and CEO of Hyundai Motor America. "Funding innovative research programs that will have a real impact on fighting this deadly disease is our mission at Hyundai, and our partnership with CHOC Children's is critical in that goal."

"I am really excited to see what the data is going to reveal," said Dr. Sender, Director, Hyundai Cancer Institute at CHOC Children's. "We are now on our way to realizing the initial goal of the Hyundai Cancer Institute Genomic Research Program - providing pediatric oncologists with information that will allow them to make better decisions about targeted, precision therapy in patients with refractory or recurrent cancer."

To celebrate the Hyundai Cancer Institute at CHOC Children's, Hope On Wheels will be joined by families, staff and doctors from the hospital, as well as community leaders and Hyundai executives at the Samueli Theater for a special performance by the Seoul Philharmonic, Korea's oldest and most prominent orchestra, and a signature Hope On Wheels Handprint Ceremony. This Handprint Ceremony will capture the colorful handprints of the brave children receiving pediatric cancer treatment at CHOC Children's as a symbol of hope for all the children battling this disease nationwide. Every Handprint Ceremony celebrates the courageous lives of the children faced with cancer and brings our community of supporters together.

In 2012, Hope On Wheels will donate an additional $12 million to children's hospitals nationwide for pediatric cancer research through its signature Hyundai Scholar Grant and Hyundai Hope Grant awards.

By the end of 2012, Hope On Wheels will surpass $57 million in total donations to childhood cancer research since the program began 14 years ago. This level of funding places Hyundai among the leading funders of pediatric cancer research in the nation.

Additional activities for 2012 will include a national grant donation tour, nationwide fund-raising 5K race series, an online social media campaign and a partnership with the Childhood Cancer Congressional Caucus. For the third consecutive year, during National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September, Hope On Wheels will conduct a comprehensive campaign to raise greater awareness about pediatric cancer and the need to fund critical research to find a cure.

With every new vehicle sold in the U.S., Hyundai customers join Hyundai and its dealers in funding important life-saving research. For more information about the Hyundai Cancer Institute, or to learn more about Hyundai Hope On Wheels, visit www.HyundaiHopeOnWheels.org .

Thanks for the great review, Richard!

"We had a great experience at Hyundai Cerritos, thanks to our salesperson Ray. He responded quickly to our internet request, and when we visited the dealership, he was attentive, helpful and made sure we found the Veloster we were looking for. The actual negotiating process was quick and fair, much easier than I've experienced at other dealerships. Ray made sure the vehicle was clean and ready to go, explaining all of the key features, especially the bluetooth link. The rest of the staff was professional and grateful for the business. I would definitely recommend this dealership to others." -Richard C.

Hyundai sets goal to break record for pediatric cancer research funding

Hyundai’s Hope on Wheels non-profit organization has set a goal to surpass $57 million in donations for pediatric cancer research this year, placing Hyundai as a leading fundraiser for the cause in the nation.

Throughout the year, Hyundai will host a national grant donation tour, a nationwide 5k race series, an online social media campaign and a partnership with the Childhood Cancer Congressional Caucus, with a special comprehensive campaign during September’s National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

This year’s program selected 13-year-old C.J. George as the National Youth Ambassador to travel the country to share his battle with cancer at Hope on Wheel events.

“We see Hope On Wheels as a critical part of our mission at Hyundai,” said John Krafcik, president and CEO of Hyundai Motor America. “Pediatric cancer takes far too many young lives and impacts far too many families. We are proud to work with our Hyundai dealers to fund research to end this disease.”

The company plans to donate $12 million to children's hospitals nationwide through its signature Hyundai Scholar Grant and Hyundai Hope Grant awards. Scholar grants of $75,000 will be awarded to 41 principal investigators pursuing innovative research early in their careers and 36 other Hope Grants of $250,000 will be given to children’s hospitals across the country.

Winners will be announced at a Handprint Ceremony in September where children will cover a Hyundai Tucson with their handprints to commemorate their battles with cancer.

“Every 36 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. Through research, 80 percent of those cancers can be cured, but that's just not good enough,” said Gary Micallef of the Hope On Wheels Board of Directors. “The Hyundai dealers across America proudly join in this fight.  This is one we must win for our children, our communities, and our future.”

Hyundai Grass Roots Movement

Our most powerful engine is our spirit.

What started in 1998 as a grass-roots effort to raise money for a local New England pediatric cancer institute has grown into a powerful nation-wide charity called Hope on Wheels.

Every time a new Hyundai is sold, a donation is made to help kids fight cancer. With over 800 dealerships those numbers add up quickly. In fact, we're so committed to helping kids fight cancer that we won't stop until we find a cure.

Go to http://www.hyundaiusa.com/new-thinking/csr.aspx/ to donate.

Only a few days left to take advantage of these great offers!

We would like to thank Dawnie for taking the time to write such a great review!

"I recently purchased a 2012 Hyundai Elantra from Mohammed and I have to say that I had a pleasant experience. I went by myself without my husband, and I actually left without feeling like I got screwed. This was also the first time that I left the dealership and didn't have a headache. I'll be recommending my friends and family to this location, no doubt :-)" -Dawnie
